Chicken Stew Recipe


  • 1/2 kilo Chicken, cut up
  • 4 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 2 medium (200g) Potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium (150g) Carrot, cut into chunks
  • 1 can (227g) Del Monte Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup cooked or frozen green peas
  • 100g Baguio beans, sliced
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, cut into strips
  1. Season chicken with 1/4 tsp. iodized salt (or 1/4tbsp rock salt) and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Set aside.
  2. Saute garlic, onion, and chicken. Add 1 cup water and 1/3 tsp iodized salt (or 1/3 tbsp. rock salt). Simmer for 10 minutes or until meat is tender.
  3. Add potatoes, carrots and Del Monte Tomato Sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add green peas, baguio beans and bell pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
